Love has nothing to do with today's world or ancient times. Time  changed, people changed,  fashion came into existence , thinking have become modern and running away from a situation has taken a mask of so called practical life. But the roots of love are still and strong. 
The famous love story of Radha and Krishna from Hindu mythology is something a five year kid would know now a days. That was the world in ancient times. Love was experienced and so does the ways of love was getting defined. And don't you think changing time has power to do everything but doesn't holds the power to change love and it's ways.
Yes ! LOVE  exists in today's world too !
Scary part is.. people don't believe so because they have fallen in love and went through heartbreaks. Wake up ! You went through heart break because you loved some one who didn't loved you back. You loved someone for whom getting a girlfriend or boyfriend was a part of his fashionable life. You loved but not the right person.
Do believe me when I say this when you truly are in love you will not fall, you will not experience any heart break rather you will rise in love. 
Love is when you feel cared, love is when you feel  safe, love is when you have to put no efforts for smiling, love is when you can trust and can be trusted back , love is when you can be just yourself, love is when you feel being understood, love is when you feel better and overwhelming, love is when you are Respected, love is when is when it seems very easy to stay together, love is when there is no space for artificiality, love is where there is no second thoughts and no doubts. 
And it is Rightly said .."LOVE is when there is no complaints and no demands." 
Love doesn't see status of a person, love has no language, love doesn't go for appearance of a person, storm called distance can't even bring a little gap between people who are in love, love is about honesty and loyalty, love is about dedication and love is all about sacrifice.
Love is about commitment of holding hands in not matter what the situation is.
Love is about raising a person to do something good in life and to  achieve the goals they have.
Love is about being proud of a person you are with.
Love is about being protective not possessive.
Love is about being happy and making happy.
Love is to give not to gain.
Love is to accept not to expect.
Love is all about investing time not money.
Love can't destroy ..It only knows to build, to grow, to develop !
